GCSE's vs iGCSE's
There are two ways to study science... You can either get GCSEs or iGCSEs. Sometimes it can be a little confusing understanding what the difference is! Let me help clear things up.
GCSE Materials
Most UK schools follow the AQA specification for science but you MUST check with your school before purchasing any materials anywhere. I will not be held responsible for any incorrectly purchased materials :)
CGP revision guides are perfect for students who have been taught the content of the specification by a tutor and/or class teacher. These books contain key points, some worked example questions, and practice questions (the answers are at the back of the revision guide).
*Please note: I do not recommend these revision guides on their own for self-studying as they do not contain enough detailed explanations*
iGCSE Materials
I recommend Edexcel iGCSE Sciences to all my clients but you MUST check with the exam centre you hope to use that they allow entries for this exam series. I will not be held responsible for any incorrectly purchased materials :)
Pearson Edexcel student books are perfect for students who have the support of a tutor or are self studying. These books contain detailed explanations, worked example questions, ideas for further study and practice questions (the answers are at the back of the textbook).
